While working in the PLM, you can use Workflows to help guide the team and the product development reach the finish line. To set up a Workflow, go to PLM -> Workflow.
If no workflows exist, select Create to get started. Which will open up this side panel, where you can name the Workflow, add tasks, indicate roughly how long each task will take, and assign the tasks:
Assignees won’t receive emails, but they will get notifications when the task is assigned to them. Workflows can be edited and rearranged at any time.
As products get assigned to the workflows, you can follow the Product and the Workflow status through the Projects/Quotes/Orders stages. You can also copy the Workflow to make different versions in the same Workspace in the PLM or in different Workspaces in the PLM.
