If you are initiating the Sales Order (or the Purchase Order from the buyer's side), the following screen will appear.

Once the Customer, Freight Terms, and Copies are indicated, select Create at the bottom of the screen to create the Order

When the Order is initially created, it will be in as a Draft. Be sure to double-check all the values and make any final changes before selecting Send

Once everything is good to go, select Send and put in the Buyer’s email address to send them the Sales Order (which they will see as a Purchase Order), which will also send an email to the Buyer.

The Buyer will see the above when they select the link in the message.

The Buyer will need to select the Confirm button, which will generate the next pop-up message

Once the Buyer has confirmed, the Order screen will now show that the Buyer has confirmed, but we are pending the Seller

Double-check the Order details, then select Confirm, then a pop-up screen will appear to finalize the Order

And now the Order is done!
