Let's say you receive a Project from one of your customers and you need to have one of your supplier partners create the product. You will need to send over the specs and details of the proposed product through your product development team. Here in this article you will be able to use the Send to PD button.
Getting it over to your PD teammate(s) is easy:
When you receive a quote from your customer, you will notice the checkbox on the bottom left of each product image. Click on the desired products and then you will see the "Send to PD" button on the top right.
Click on the "Send to PD" button and it will bring up a pop-up where you need to select the Category it should go to, and a message box where you can give some details to your PD teammate.
Click "Send" and then your PD teammate will receive a linked Project in their queue (left menu > Categories > Select Department > Select Category > Projects and it will be labeled "Requested Updates" which indicates the Project has been linked and is internal.
