This article will explain how a Supplier can edit Unit Price vs. Unit Cost in a Project. Also learn to add component information to notify your customer of requested details on a product.

Editing Unit Cost vs. Unit Price on a Project

  • Navigate to the left menu button > Department/Category > Programs tab at the top

  • Select your desired project and click into a style for the product details to appear

  • Next to the style #, you will see the "Edit" button. Click "edit" and a pop-up box will appear. Scroll down to view Unit Cost & Unit Price.

  • Unit Cost definition- the price it will cost you to make an item. This price is private and not visible for anyone but your team members.

  • Unit Price definition- the price you want to sell this item for. This price is visible to your buyer or seller.

  • When negotiating with your buyer or seller, you will want to update the Unit Price on your end and then click "Save." If you edit the "Unit Price," this will update your buyer or seller's 1st cost. A sticky note will appear on the right-hand side showing the changes you have made to that item.
