Here we will go through the process of how to utilize the "Send to PD" function. As a seller, you may come across specific request made for your product development person. In the quotes tab, there is a function to be able to send comments and/or requests.
Let's walk you through these steps:
Seller View
Click on the 3-lined menu and select a customer you would like to create a quote for.
Head to the "Quotes" tab and select a quote you have created for a customer. Within that quote, select the items you would like to send to PD for some revisions.
A pop-up box will appear and you will need to write out a message and select a category this quote will appear on the PD side. Once complete, click send! You will notice once you are finished, an orange banner will appear on the items, stating it was sent to PD.
Once PD is finished with receiving information from the supplier and has made some of their edits as well, they will submit it back for sales to review. The orange banner listed as "Sent to PD" will now change to a mint banner saying "Ready to Review".
A pop-up box will appear with all the revised edits highlighted. You have the options to reject or accept updates.
