Use Bulk Product Upload to add product data or media. Bulk Upload access depends on your account permissions: None cannot access Bulk Upload, Limited can add products, components, and variants, and Full can create and overwrite data. Ask your administrator if the upload controls are unavailable.
Open Upload from the Catalog, then choose Product Data or Media.
Upload product data
- Choose Product Data.
- Choose the required Category. Add a tag if needed.
- Select Choose File or drag a file into the upload area. Product data accepts CSV, XLS, XLSM, and XLSX files.
- When the file is listed, choose Get Started to continue through the data-import flow.
Use the mapping and review screens shown after Get Started to match spreadsheet columns to product fields and check the proposed changes before completing the import.
For large catalog updates, keep a backup so you can recover prior values if needed.
Upload media
- Choose Media, then select whether to upload to an existing product or upload and create a new product.
- If you choose Upload and create a new product, select the required Category and Add Tag. These fields are not shown for the existing-product option.
- Select Choose File or drag media into the upload area. Accepted formats shown are JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIF, TIFF, GLB, GLTF, PPT, PPTX, PPTM, PDF, AI, PSD, and EPS.
- When the files are listed, choose Get Started to continue.
For existing products, the file-matching and completion steps follow the selection screen. Review the on-screen instructions and check the resulting product records after the upload.
