Exporting Custom Sheets

Some retailers require their partners to import product details into their own systems for order or item setup. Manually entering data can be an extremely time-consuming process. Surefront can help with the click of a button. Create new custom export formats that you can easily import into your retailer’s system.

 

Need a custom report from Surefront? Need to import data into another system? Need a thumbnail image? Exports can help with that.

 

Setup

This process is fairly straightforward. With your Customer Success Manager guiding you every step of the way.

1. Provide an excel template to Surefront

   1. One without data filled in

   2. One with data filled in

      1. Note which Surefront field should be mapped to each column

2. We'll create the export and advise when ready

 

Access the Export in Surefront

Exports are available from the catalog, project, quote, and order sections within Surefront.

1. Select your item(s) by clicking the box next to item number.

   1. Please Note:

   2. Limit 500 items for exports without images embedded

   3. Limit 50 items for exports with embedded images

2. Click Export

   1. You may have to click on "more" first depending on the screen you are in

3. A list of available exports will appear.

4. Choose an export

   1. If you want to export Images/Attachments be sure to select "Include images and attachments" under Media Options at the bottom of the screen
      
      

5. Click Export

6. The Activity Side Panel will expand to the Exports section
   
   

   1. Please note exports with images will also generate an email to you as well, the button in the email will link you back to the Export panel.

   2. From this panel you can download the file, re-run the download you just ran with updated information, and download the same report again until the Available until date passes

7. Download the file

   1. If exporting a single file, the report will be downloaded to your computer
      
      

   2. If exporting with attachments/images:

      1. the excel export will be located within the products folder

      2. Please note: All other folders will contain the images/attachments associated with that Product ID
