Quotes are a great way to let your customers know about new products you have in stock that you think will grab their attention and hopefully a new purchase order. Also, it allows them to Order the products right through the Quote.

A note about Quotes - Creating a Quote will require you to assign it to a Program unless the Customer is "Unlinked". Please note "Linked" Customers will have a triangle next to their name.

To create a Quote:

  • Go to the left menu button > Customer Relationship Management > Pick the Customer

  • Now that you are in the Customer's Category page you should be in the Quotes Section

    • Please note for linked customers, you will start in the programs page. Select Quotes at the top of the page

  • In the left you will see a "Create” button. Click on this and a pop-up labeled “Create Quote” will have some fields to fill in.

    • Quote title - this can be a description of the type of products you will add to the Quote (i.e. Shelving Units December 2019).

    • Freight Terms - this is the shipping and freight option (e.g. Import, Domestic Collect, or Domestic Prepaid).

    • Quote Program - For Linked Customers, Select a Program or keep as Select

  • Once you have clicked the “Create Quote” button you will be brought to the page to add Products. You will see a search field at the top and some filters to help find what you need. Click the box next to the item # to select the item. Continue selecting until you are finished.

    • The “Search” field allows you to enter any product details data to filter down and find what you need.

    • “All” dropdown - you can click this and choose a specific Product Category or sub-category (i.e. Baskets > Fabric > Structured) to filter the list of Products.

    • The "Add Filter" button allows you to choose any field within product details to search only within that particular field.

    • The “View Selected” button allows you to see which Products you have chosen.

    • The “Select All” button can be used to click all of the listed Products, or you can Select All of the filtered products listed below. It allows quick and easy choosing through a long list of products.

    • You will also see a list of text bubbles under "Search" listing out correlating Product Tags. If these bubbles are clicked it will filter products based on tags they have been assigned.

  • After choosing the Products you wish to add to the Quote, click the “Add Products (#)” button located on the top right

  • Before you can send the Quote, you can specify prices, margin and/or quantity.

    • Click the "Edit Data" Button.

    • Make any necessary changes.

    • Click Save.

  • You can also change any product details by selecting the three-dot menu next to each product in the table and clicking “Edit Product”. - Note: Changing product details here will have no effect on the products in the catalog.

    • Make any necessary changes.

    • Click Save.

  • When finished click “Send”.

  • This will launch a pop up that will enable you to enter a message for your customer.

    • Enter an email address for your customer if they are unlinked.

    • Select the user(s) if they are linked.

    • This message will be sent to the selected users via email to notify them of your Quote.

  • Any communication after the quote is sent can be done through messaging or sticky notes.
