Creating a Quote in the CRM

To create a New Quote, select the blue + in the upper left

  • Name the Quote (required)

  • Select the Freight Terms (optional)

Select Create Quote, and you will automatically be redirected to the Catalog to select Products for the Quote

  • From this screen, you can filter by fields and/or by tags to find the products to add to this quote

Quotes will stay in Draft until they are sent to a Buyer

  • The quote can be edited freely without alerting the Buyer

  • Quotes can also be deleted before they are sent

Once a quote is ready, hit Send and enter the email of the Buyer

  • The Buyer does not need a Surefront account to view, communicate, or proceed

Here is an example of the email the Buyer will receive (the text is customizable).

When the Buyer opens the email, they will be automatically directed to the Quotes screen:

With the Quote sent out, the Buyer and the salesperson can communicate in the software to discuss different options.

When both parties are in agreement, the Buyer can select the products they wish to purchase, create a Purchase Order, and send the request back
