Now that you have solidified your deal on products you are looking to purchase, you want to save the products back to your Catalog. We made some updates and now we are able to add tags, overwrite a duplicate product if there have been no material changes, or quickly create a new product with a new item number if there have been material changes to the product.

  • Go to left menu button > Categories > Selected Department > Category > Quotes Tab > Pick any Quote

  • Find the product you are looking to save back to your Catalog, and then click on the product card to take you to the Product Details.

  • At the top right there will be a Save to Catalog button, click this and a pop-up will appear.

  • If the product you are saving already exists in your Catalog, you will have the options to change it to a brand new item number with a notification that you are saving a brand new item in your catalog.

  • If the product you are saving already exists and you making material changes, then you will override the existing item number in your catalog.

  • Lastly, choose the tags you wish to associate with the item and then click the "Save" button on the bottom right of the pop-up.

  • Once complete, click save and you are done!

This feature can also be utilized in the Project's (RFQ's) and Orders section.
