When you save a parent product and its bill-of-material components from a project, quote, or order to the Catalog, each saved component becomes its own catalog product. The parent product is saved as well, with the component relationship.
For example, a three-basket set creates four products: the parent set and three individual baskets. Save the parent and components to their appropriate categories—for example, the set to Storage and the individual baskets to Components.
You can choose which components to save. If you omit a component, that item is not included in the saved parent’s catalog relationship. After saving, check that the parent and all intended components appear in the Catalog and that the relationship reflects the selected parts.
